The „BIBA – Bremer Institut f\u00fcr Produktion und Logistik GmbH<\/a>“ is an engineering research institute. It was founded in July 1981 as an affiliated institute of the University of Bremen and is today one of the larger research institutions in the country. The employees come from very different disciplines, which forms the basis for researching and developing innovative technical and organizational solutions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

NWL<\/strong><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The „NWL – Norddeutsche Wasserweg Logistik GmbH<\/a>“ was founded in 1993 to provide waterborne connections for the transport of goods and containers by inland waterway vessel between Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and various other inland ports in northern Germany. As an application partner, the company contributes its extensive knowledge in the areas of inland waterway shipping and container transport to the project.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Hochschule Emden Leer<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Emden\/Leer University of Applied Sciences<\/a> is represented in the research project by the Department of Maritime Studies and Maritime Sciences. In its research, the department deals with essential maritime topics ranging from ship handling simulation to marine technology.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jade Hochschule<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jade University of Applied Sciences<\/a> offers more than 50 study programs at its three study locations in northwestern Germany. The university is represented in the project by the Institute IDOK – Database Oriented Design. The institute has extensive knowledge in the field of building information modeling, also known as Building Information Modeling (BIM).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
